A Day in Roanoke - Trip down Memory Land
3930 was the number on the old Mission Home (which was torn down and replaced with this housing complex) but seeing the numbers brought back memories of three wonderful and incredible years at this location.
The Roanoke 1st WArd building (or at least it used to the First Ward) - built during our stay in Roanoke right next to the Mission Home in this beautiful setting of Roanoke...
The beautiful spring landscape on the property right behind the old mission home...
This building is across the street from the old mission home and used to be a bicycle repair shop where Paul got his first 'real' job...
This used to be a McDonalds just a few blocks from the Mission Home - Ryan got his first job here, but it was not meant to be his 'career'...he was meant to be a leader but his time at this establishment was not one of his favorite memories and he never became the employee of the month...ha
Carolyn standing in front of the new (to us) Roanoke Airport...quite a different place from where we met over 500 missionaries or wished them farewell...what unforgettable memories...
