"Miss Deli" Sparkling Smile and Crispy Clean

Meet Miss Deli - She came to the Garden of Eden when Selasi took a maternity leave. She is famous for her hard work, perpetual smile, radiant pesonality and professionalism.
Deli got 'married' - actually she had been married for several years but in order to be sealed in the temple in West Africa each must have a Bishop's wedding in additon to their recognized Traditional or Tribal wedding. This was her Wedding day. She invited us to come. They went through the temple and were sealed immediately following this wedding.
When Selasi came back from Maternity leave we asked Deli to become our "Laundry Engineer". Notice the stacks of folded sheets - they didn't come from the factory that crisp and perfectly folded - that shelf is the way it ALWAYS looks when Deli is finished with her laundry.
This is a part of the 'pile' she works on to keep the missionaries sleeping on and between clean crisp sheets and showering with fluffy bath towels. The MTC has many small washers and dryers for missionary use but we have found by experience that training them to do their own laundry is a bad 'investment' for the church nor good use of missionaries time. They have never used an automatic washer/dryer; will never use one during their mission and most will never use one after their mission so as a part of living in the Garden of Eden they also get their laundry done for them by our professional laundry engineer - 'Sister Deli'. When they return from the temple each week it is laying on their bed - not folded, but very clean - they need to do some work even in a Garden environment. After all, four meals per day, no dish washing, air conditioned class rooms, 5 star accomodations, hot showers, clean sheets and towels as needed and laundry service - Adam never had it so good.
Her finished product - not prior warned - this is the way her workroom looks at the end of every working day - if only we could teach the missionaries to be as professional as she teaches us how to do laundry.
