Machete Madness - these two machete chopping men chopped down the 'cherry' tree, with the 'machines' shown above - it took them two days of very hard work. Finally, after it had finally given up and fallen to the ground and they spent another two days hacking at the heavy branches and cutting them into workable sizes - we are now four days into the project - then on the last day when nothing but cleanup is left a man with a chain saw came and finished the task in ten minutes - where was this chain saw man on the previous four days? Amazing to watch the world turn here in the MTC front yard.

WE called these Sisters the Singing Nuns - they were some very special sisters who became very attached to their 'mum' Sister Ritchie. Sisters Peprah, Ayaraekpe, Addo, Asiedu and Kamara...if only the world were filled with people such as these...

We call this their "Hyde Park" experience. They, on their first full day at the MTC go to Hyde Park in London (well, ok, we just tell them it is London) and preach the gospel of the Restoration. It is always a great moment when they stand on their 'soap box' and give their first missionary talk. Here Sister Golley and Brother Morrison assist their missionaries at their first street meeting in Hyde Park.
