President and Sister Haight

Both Elder and Sister David B. Haight and Ruby passed away within months of each other while we were in our first year of our MTC experience. Losing both of them and my father within months represented some mighty heavy casualties in such a short period of time. Our last time with them was at Jonathan and Eliza's wedding breakfast in June of 2004 just months before their passing. My mission to Scotland in 1962 - 1964 under their leadership caused mighty changes in my life and future.
