Cape Coast MTC Guests
WE have set up a new business venture here in Ghana. See attached apicture of five missionaries, two AP's, one mission president and wife(president and sister Dil of the Cape Coast Mission) who were overnightguests at our new Hotel. WE had some empty beds and kitchen capacity andwhen Pres. Dil asked if his Provo MTC French speaking missionaries who arrived in Accra late one night (to avoid a dangerous all night ride to CapeCoast) if they could stay overnight and be oriented here at the MTC we jumped at the chance...
WE knew we could 'sell' them a breakfast and lunchbefore their long drive back to Cape Coast so by the time we provided rooms, breakfast, lunch and a training room, we knew we had made a 'profit' for the day. Glad to have them and hope our service was 'up to snuff' sufficient so they will come back in six weeks and try out our establishment again...
This is exciting, think of it, with 104 beds @ even $25/night plus food and conference rooms...do the math on that (no debt service, no fixed overheadand very low variable expenses)... we might never go home... (laugh, that was a joke of course)No name
PS Ok, Ok, I've gone back to work and will get re-focused...
