The Missionary Bride - An Exclusive New Program of the Ghana MTC

"Sister" Tamakloe on her wedding day - two days in advance of her entering the Ghana MTC to begin her mission. This picture is taken on the grass in front of the MTC and next to the Tema ward building where they had their Bishop's wedding prior to going to the temple. Literally, as Sister Ritchie is inside the MTC 'making' her bed and getting read for her arrival she is getting married. She - and her Priesthood leaders - 'forgot' to tell us. When we discovered her 'change of plans' we went to the wedding, asked her to put on the missionary name tag and take pictures for our future new advertising campaign to encourage more missionaries with the new 'pick your own companion' program - numbers have picked up since the introduction of the 'visionary' idea.
